Hey there, Kiersten here!
After 13 years of working in NYC, I finally decided to take a leap of faith and make my hobby, my passion, into my job.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve LOVED organizing. And I never fully understood how others did not. Everything has a place…a home. I mean…why wouldn’t you want to find your belongings easily and quickly without tearing apart a closet or drawer?
Unpacking groceries and putting them into the refrigerator, only to take everything out again to find a certain food? — WHY?? Leaving your jacket on the kitchen bar stool when you have a perfectly good hanger in the front closet with all the other jackets? — MY MIND IS BLOWN!! Overflowing drawers, open cupboards, stuff constantly on the countertops and the floor? —THIS IS CRAZY TALK!!
After a few years of helping friends and family purge items from their closets, offices, garages, kitchens, etc., I realized, this is not a job for everyone. Reducing clutter, although it feels good afterwards, can be incredibly stressful to some. They don’t know where to start, they’re attached to their items and have trouble parting with them, or they just need the little voice in their head (me) to point them in the right direction. When you don’t have to make all the decisions yourself, you can put your trust in someone else to give an outside perspective.
